ANOTHER NEW DELIVERY CAPE SIZE BULKER FOR THE COMPANY

The 29th of June 2011 was another happy and cheerful day for the company’s Filipino crew as they proudly delivered the 92,752 MT, Cape Size, Bulk Carrier, Lowlands Sunrise at Koyo Shipyard, Hiroshima, Japan.

She is the company’s 3rd new delivery cape size bulker carrier for the year, making the company’s cape size bulker total to 10 ships.

Another very large coal carrier with a burden of 200,000 DWT, she is manned by Korean senior officers by our Principals, Kyung Yil Shipping Co., Ltd. and our Filipino Junior officers and crew.

Owned by one (1) one of Japan’s biggest shipping company and the company’s shipowners, Fukuijin Kisen Co., Ltd. of Japan and operated by Cobelfret of Luxembourg, her engine thrust her to her maiden voyage at 1200 JST on same date to Haypoint, Australia to load coal.

Lowlands Sunrise is a replacement for the same named, same owned, same operated and same cape sized bulker vessel, manned by the company from 2003-2009.  It must be a lucky ship’s name that Owners/Operators keep’s on reviving it to name their vessel.

Congratulations to all concerns for this newly built ship and bon voyage to all officers and crew!!!
