COMPANY’S ACCREDITATION TO GERMAN EMBASSY APPROVED

With the suspension of “Visa on Arrival” for all joining Filipino seafarers by the European Union member countries or, last February 01, 2011, manning agencies scrambled to apply accreditation for issuance of Schengen visa.

“Sailor needs to get a Schengen visa at his country of domicile prior to arrival.”

The European Union member countries in the Philippines have designated the German Embassy in Manila, as the sole accreditation entity to ensure manning agencies qualification.

If German Embassy issues accreditation to the manning agency, they can apply Schengen visa to all other European Union member countries in the Philippines.

The company applied for accreditation with the German Embassy on 28th February 2011.  Finding the completeness and qualification of the company, German Embassy scheduled the company’s ocular inspection on March 08, 2011.

German Embassy, Visa Section Attache, Mr. Berhard Stopfer and Mr. Alarcon visited the office last March 8, 2011 for the ocular inspection

On the 29th of April 2011, the company became one of the fortune companies granted with the accreditation by the German Embassy.

The company needs to check that all submitted documents will be authentic to avoid being blacklisted with all European Union member countries, including US, Canada, etc.

Congratulations to the company for the job well done!
