FJL HOLDS ITS 22nd SAFETY SEMINAR FOR STANDBY OFFICERS AND ENGINEERS
JUNE 14-15, 2023, FSC TRAINING CENTER, MANILA—Fukujin Kisen Co. LTD.(FJL) held its 22nd Safety Seminar for Standby Officers and Engineers.
The first day of seminar was attended by a total of 26 participants composed of four (4) Second Officers, nine (9) Third Officers, seven (7) Second Assistant Engineers, and six (6) Third Assistant Engineers.
Consequently, the second day was participated by 10 Master Mariners, five (5) Chief Officers, nine (9) Chief Engineers, and seven (7) First Assistant Engineers, with a total of 31 participants.
The Safety Seminar was facilitated by the officers and principals of FJL including its President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Toshiyuki Seno. It tackled various topics on maritime updates, crewing and operational matters, incidents and case studies, ships handling, and revisions and updates on Ship Management System (SMS). It, likewise, aims to promote safety onboard and increase the knowledge and awareness of all officers and engineers.
FJL in partnership with Fair Shipping Corporation (FSC) will continue to its commitment to provide highly competent seafarers through the regular conduct (thrice a year) of the Safety Seminar.
