MV SWEET PEA LEADER: THE FIRST LNG-FUELED PCTC VESSEL OF FSC

On February 09, 2025 marked the boarding of the LNG Dual Fuel Pure Car and Truck Carrier MV Sweet Pea Leader. Consequently, on March 31, 2025, the vessel officially became the first LNG Dual Fuel vessel fully manned all-Filipino crew under FAIR Shipping Corporation through the headship of Capt. Jeffrey Torio and Chief Engineer Rey Roco.

 

MV Sweet Pea Leader was built in 2023 with a car capacity of 7,000 units and gross tonnage of 77,644 MT. It is owned by Lucia Navigation (Panama) S.A. and managed by Excel Marine Co. Ltd.

 

This another addition to FSC fleet is a proof of the company’s commitment to providing better maritime services, likewise, provide more work opportunity to Filipino seafarers.
